We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. We are looking for a Senior Accountant. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and closing procedures.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
