Senior Anaplan Analyst (Incentive Compensation)

Job Description

As an Anaplan expert, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of models that support the calculation and payout of variable compensation for global employees, including sales, pre-sales, and services roles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of incentive compensation processes, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the key technical resource for the development, implementation, and maintenance of incentive compensation plans within Anaplan.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Sales Operations, HR, Finance, and IT, to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure accurate plan execution.
  • Develop and configure complex Anaplan models, including calculations, dashboards, and reports, to support incentive compensation processes.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of compensation data.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Anaplan model performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring their understanding and adoption of Anaplan functionalities.
  • Document processes, configurations, and data flows to maintain clear and comprehensive records.
  • Stay updated with Anaplan best practices and new features, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance compensation processes.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Anaplan model building and administration, with a focus on incentive compensation.
  • Anaplan Level 2 or 3 certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of incentive compensation principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data manipulation and integration is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
