We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Animation TD to join our team of animation experts. As a Senior Animation TD, you will be a key contributor to our animation pipeline, working closely with animators, rigging artists, and programmers to develop and maintain robust tools and systems that enhance our animation production workflows.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced animation tools, systems, and pipelines for our game projects.
- Collaborate with animators, rigging artists, and programmers to understand their needs and translate them into efficient and user-friendly solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the animation team, troubleshooting issues and offering solutions to complex problems.
- Optimize animation workflows and performance, ensuring high-quality animation output while adhering to technical constraints.
- Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and techniques to continuously improve our animation production processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for tools, systems, and best practices.
- Mentor junior TDs and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a Senior Animation TD who has:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Animation TD or a similar role in the gaming industry.
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting and API integration (e.g., Maya Python API, Unreal Engine Python API).
- Solid understanding of animation principles, rigging techniques, and character deformation.
- Experience with real-time game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) and their animation pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A passion for video games and a deep understanding of animation in games.
