Our team is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our growing global team. Reporting to our Engineering Manager, this role will be instrumental in enhancing the quality and reliability of our software products through advanced test automation strategies and implementation.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute to test automation efforts from design to implementation and maintenance.
- Be an advocate for test automation best practices, working with engineering teams to develop test strategies and plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests, frameworks, and tools using modern programming languages and technologies.
- Work within a CI/CD environment to ensure seamless integration and deployment of automated tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, and DevOps) to understand product requirements and ensure testability.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Continuously evaluate and improve test automation processes, tools, and infrastructure.
- Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software development and test automation, with a strong focus on building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar.
- Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, NUnit).
- Experience with API testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured, Karate).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with performance testing tools and concepts is a plus.
