We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems that power our cutting-edge mobile applications and web platforms. You will play a crucial role in shaping our technical vision and ensuring the reliability and performance of our core services.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building software and systems, including backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to support our product features.
- Collaborating with other engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to identify requirements and iterate on solutions.
- Working with our Data Science and Analytics teams to create robust data pipelines and analytics systems.
- Owning the complete software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Node.js).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
