Senior Business Development Director – Americas

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Director to join our team in the Americas.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for the Americas region, aligned with overall growth objectives.
  • Identify and target key strategic partners, including financial institutions, payment processors, technology companies, and enterprises, to drive adoption of products and services.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers at target organizations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless integration and successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to product development teams, contributing to the evolution of offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and meetings, building brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Achieve and exceed ambitious revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in the digital currency space.

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships roles within the financial services, fintech, or technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of digital currencies, blockchain technology, and the broader Web3 ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving market conditions.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus points:

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Experience working with or selling to financial institutions in Latin America.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience in a rapidly scaling startup environment.
