What you’ll do:
- Define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for Gravie’s insurance products, aligning with overall company goals and market needs.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities and inform product development.
- Collaborate closely with actuarial, underwriting, sales, marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless product development, launch, and ongoing management.
- Translate market and customer needs into clear, concise, and actionable product requirements (e.g., user stories, specifications, use cases).
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring timely delivery and successful adoption.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on insurance products, market trends, and regulatory changes, providing guidance and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver product training and presentations to internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all products adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Mentor and coach junior product managers, fostering their growth and development within the organization.
You bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in product management within the health insurance industry.
- Deep understanding of health insurance products, market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex insurance products from ideation to post-launch optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Prior experience with self-funded health plans is a plus.
