Senior Manager – Lifecycle Marketing

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end lifecycle marketing campaigns across various channels (email, in-app, push notifications, etc.) to nurture users from acquisition to retention and advocacy.
  • Define key user segments and tailor personalized messaging and experiences to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate closely with product, editorial, and analytics teams to identify opportunities, define hypotheses, and execute experiments that drive growth and improve key metrics.
  • Manage the end-to-end campaign execution process, including creative development, audience segmentation, A/B testing, deployment, and performance reporting.
  • Analyze campaign performance, derive actionable insights, and iterate on strategies to continuously optimize results and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in lifecycle marketing and martech.

Who you are:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or a related field, preferably in a subscription-based media or technology company.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful lifecycle marketing strategies that drive user engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for news, media, and digital publishing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
