About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer on the CIA Insights team, you’ll focus on designing and delivering experiences that enable data scientists and business users to generate insights and make data-informed decisions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how insights are generated and consumed across our global entertainment company.
What you will do
- Partner with Product Managers and Data Scientists to define problem spaces and deliver impactful solutions.
- Take a user-centered approach to problem-solving, understanding user needs and behaviors through qualitative and quantitative research.
- Translate complex user needs and business requirements into intuitive and elegant design solutions.
- Create and iterate on design artifacts, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Advocate for design best practices and contribute to the evolution of our design system and guidelines.
- Mentor and inspire junior designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
About you
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex data-intensive products or platforms.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design recommendations.
- Familiarity with data visualization principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
