We are looking for a Senior Research Scientist to join the Music R&D team.
As a Senior Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and developing innovative solutions for music recommendation, personalization, and search. You will work on a variety of challenging problems, from developing new models for music understanding to designing and evaluating experiments for large-scale user studies.
You will be part of a collaborative team of researchers and engineers, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the music experience for millions of users worldwide.
What you’ll do
- Work on problems related to music recommendation, personalization, and search.
- Design and execute research projects that advance our understanding of user behavior and improve our products.
- Develop and prototype new algorithms and models, and collaborate with engineers to bring them into production.
- Publish and present research at top-tier conferences and journals.
- Mentor junior researchers and interns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers.
Who you are
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in research science, with a focus on music information retrieval, recommender systems, or natural language processing.
- Strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Experience with large-scale data processing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
