A leading blockchain and web3 software company. We have been a remote-first organization since our inception. This is a full-time position and candidates may be located in Canada, EMEA or USA. This role is a Senior Software Engineer for MetaMask Growth.
At MetaMask, we’re a globally distributed team working to make web3 more accessible to everyone. We offer a user-friendly crypto wallet that serves as a gateway to decentralized applications (dapps) on the Ethereum blockchain. With over 30 million monthly active users, MetaMask is the world’s leading self-custodial wallet.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Collaborate across multiple functions to deliver high-impact growth experiments quickly and effectively.
- Work with product and design to craft features that bring value to our users.
- Drive product development by contributing to the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of features.
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion engineering best practices.
- Engage in discussions with users and other ecosystem partners to collect feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
Would be great if you brought this to the role:
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency with JavaScript (React, Node.js).
- Experience building high-quality consumer products.
- Ability to take product ideas from 0 to 1, as well as iterate on existing products.
- Experience working on high-performance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for Web3 and the decentralized ecosystem.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Bonus points for experience with Figma and/or Python.

MetaMask Growth focuses on improving the experience and capabilities of current and future MetaMask users and developers in a fast-paced, iterative environment. This includes building new user-facing features, exploring and iterating on new product concepts, and conducting growth experiments with engineering and design to drive product adoption and retention.
