We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team, ideally based in the USA (East coast). In this role, you will act as a technical product expert, demonstrating the value of our commercial offerings and open-source solutions to prospective and existing customers. You will work closely with our Sales and Product teams to understand customer needs, design tailored solutions, and drive successful adoption of products.
What you’ll do:

- Work closely with Sales and Product teams to understand customer needs and design tailored solutions.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Design and implement custom solutions and integrations using products and related technologies.
- Document solutions, best practices, and technical guides for internal and external use.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery to post-sales handover.
- Gather and articulate customer feedback and requirements to internal Product and Engineering teams.
- Collaborate with field teams to enable solutions engineers and contribute to their ongoing development.
- Maintain technical proficiency with products, industry trends, and competitive solutions.
- Contribute to the development of technical content, including blogs, whitepapers, and webinars.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong background in observability (metrics, logs, traces) and experience with tools like Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and OpenTelemetry.
- Proficiency in modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with scripting and automation languages (Python, Go, Bash).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to travel as required to customer sites and company events.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with APM tools, security monitoring, or network monitoring.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence concepts.
