Senior Website Operations Manager

Circle is a high-growth crypto finance startup on a mission to make crypto finance accessible to everyone. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Website Operations Manager to manage the performance and ongoing optimization of Circle’s digital properties, primarily Circle.com. This role will own the technical SEO and website performance strategy, ensuring Circle’s websites are high-performing, secure, and user-friendly. Responsibilities:
– Manage, maintain, and optimize Circle’s web properties (primarily Circle.com), focusing on technical SEO, site speed, and overall website health.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for website-related issues, including outages, performance degradations, and security vulnerabilities.
– Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams to implement new features, campaigns, and content, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
– Lead the technical SEO strategy, including site audits, keyword research, content optimization, and link-building initiatives.
– Monitor website analytics and performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
– Manage external vendors and agencies as needed for website development, maintenance, and SEO initiatives.
– Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to improve website performance and user experience.
– Develop and maintain documentation for website processes, procedures, and configurations.

Prerequisites:
– 7+ years of experience in website operations, technical SEO, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
– Deep understanding of website architecture, content management systems (CMS), and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
– Strong knowledge of technical SEO best practices, including site crawling, indexing, structured data, and mobile optimization.
– Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
– Proficiency in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
– Bonus points: Experience with Webflow or similar no-code/low-code platforms.
