As a Software Engineer 4 on this team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our commerce and gaming platforms. You will tackle complex technical challenges, build highly scalable and resilient systems, and contribute to a product that impacts millions worldwide.
What you will do:
- Own the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of critical systems for payments, subscriptions, games, and more.
- Drive complex technical projects from inception to launch, working with a variety of stakeholders including product managers, designers, and other engineering teams.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of our engineering organization, identifying new opportunities and driving innovation.
Who you are:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
- Expertise in designing, building, and operating highly scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop other engineers.
- A passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a deep understanding of the payment or gaming industry is a plus.
