We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Platform InfraCore team. Our Platform InfraCore team provides foundational shared services for product teams throughout. Our current services include authentication & authorization, customer, billing, account, and organization management. These services are crucial for customers and internal teams. While we do have our own backend services in the InfraCore team, we primarily focus on building and owning highly leveraged services that serve internal teams directly.
What you’ll do:
- Own the delivery of mission-critical services that power product teams and customers.
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to define and deliver the roadmap.
- Work with internal customers (product teams) to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet them.
- Support the services by participating in on-call rotation.
- Mentor and support other engineers in the team.
- Contribute to the team’s shared goals and help to improve our processes and practices.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- You have experience building and operating highly-available and scalable backend services.
- You have experience in at least one of Go, Python, Java, or C#. Our services are primarily written in Go, so familiarity with Go is a plus.
- You have experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- You are a great collaborator and communicator.
- You are passionate about helping others and mentoring.
- You value documentation and knowledge sharing.
- You have a product mindset and enjoy working with internal customers to understand their needs.
