Solution Architect – Zuora

About the Job

Twilio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Zuora to join our dynamic team. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions that leverage Twilio’s communication platform and Zuora’s billing and subscription management capabilities. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and product teams to understand business requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure successful deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with account teams to understand customer needs, architect solutions, and present proposals, designs, and demos to customers and prospects.
  • Work directly with customers to provide technical guidance, best practices, and support during the pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales phases of the customer lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of internal processes, tools, and best practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Solution Architecture team.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to provide feedback on product features, identify new use cases, and contribute to the product roadmap.
  • Engage with the broader Twilio community, participating in industry events, webinars, and other thought leadership initiatives.
  • Responsible for understanding and presenting Twilio’s billing partner Zuora and its API products.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Twilio and Zuora Sales and Solution Engineering teams as a subject matter expert for billing and subscription management.
  • Collaborate with and support Twilio’s product and engineering teams with roadmap strategy and help define new capabilities to support our billing partner strategy.

What you’ll bring:

  • You have 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar customer-facing role, with a focus on enterprise software solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Zuora, including its product suite (Billing, Collect, Revenue), APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Strong technical background in cloud technologies, APIs, and software development, with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • A passion for problem-solving, a customer-centric mindset, and a desire to help businesses succeed with innovative technology solutions.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for customer meetings, industry events, and internal company meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
