What you’ll do:
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers on Growth and Care to identify strategic opportunities and drive product roadmaps.
- Define and track key metrics, building dashboards and reports to monitor product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of new features and product changes.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to understand user behavior, identify pain points, and uncover insights that inform product strategy.
- Develop and implement predictive models (e.g., propensity models, churn prediction) to optimize user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth and development of the data science team.
Who you are:
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a product-focused role at a fast-growing tech company.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong expertise in SQL and Python (or R) for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
- Proven experience with experimental design and A/B testing methodologies.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and their applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and ETL processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with growth and user engagement metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC, churn) is a plus.
- Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare data is a plus.
