As a Tech Lead Manager, you’ll join a small team of talented engineers and designers working together to help our customers thrive. You’ll be responsible for building, extending, and maintaining features of the flagship product, while also driving technical initiatives across the team. You’ll work closely with other leads, product managers, and designers to define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring technical excellence and a seamless user experience. You’ll also mentor and grow engineers on the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about building great products, has a strong technical background, and is excited to lead and mentor a team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of features for the product’s core UX.
- Architect scalable and performant front-end systems using modern web technologies.
- Drive technical initiatives, ensuring best practices, code quality, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Mentor and grow engineers on the team, providing technical guidance and fostering career development.
- Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the product.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on front-end technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role (Tech Lead, Manager, or similar), leading teams of 3+ engineers.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Experience designing and building scalable, maintainable, and testable front-end architectures.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js).
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
