Description
We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher who is passionate about understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research across various stages of the product lifecycle, from generative discovery to evaluative usability testing. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify key research questions and translate insights into actionable recommendations that enhance the user experience of our comprehensive DevOps platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute UX research studies (e.g., usability testing, interviews, surveys, field studies) to gather insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify research opportunities and translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
- Communicate research findings and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders through compelling presentations, reports, and workshops.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and methodologies throughout the product development process.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of UX research best practices, tools, and processes.
- Mentor and support junior researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Proven track record of planning, executing, and communicating research findings from a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency with research tools such as Figma, Maze, UserTesting, or similar.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
