We are seeking a Vice President, Digital with significant experience leading and executing digital fundraising and advocacy programs for political campaigns and progressive causes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital landscape, a proven track record of managing client relationships, and a passion for progressive politics.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a portfolio of political clients across digital fundraising, advocacy, and persuasion programs.
- Develop and execute multi-channel digital strategies including email, SMS, and paid media.
- Manage client relationships, including regular communication, reporting, and strategic consultation.
- Oversee program performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure client goals are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, analytics) to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Contribute to new business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital political fundraising and advocacy.
- Mentor and manage a team of digital strategists and associates.
Prerequisites:
- 7+ years of experience leading and executing digital fundraising and advocacy programs for political campaigns, party committees, or progressive causes.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels including email, SMS, and paid media.
- Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), email service providers (e.g., ActionKit, NGP VAN), and analytics tools is a plus.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team.
