This role supports our Public Sector clients in the implementation, development and maintenance of Workday Extend solutions. As a Workday Extend Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of Workday Extend applications, working closely with clients to understand their business processes and translate them into Workday Extend solutions. You will collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of Workday Extend with other Workday modules.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and deployment of Workday Extend applications.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and translate them into Workday Extend solutions.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of Workday Extend with other Workday modules.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for Workday Extend solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with Workday Extend features and functionalities and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday implementation or development.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Workday Extend, including developing custom applications, integrations, and reports.
- Strong understanding of Workday’s architecture, security model, and data model.
- Proficiency in Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics and Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
